Roger and Spencer

Shot a couple of revolvers today and cleaned them in my ultra sonic cleaner. When I took them out the main spring for the R&S was broke in two. It was working and in one piece when it went in. The spring had not been modified in any way. Now the real question. I have not been able to find a replacement spring. Anyone have an extra laying around or know where one could be. I forgot to mention it is a Euroarms

Thanks Pat I had already contacted Charlie prior to the post. Just a heads up to other Rogers and Spencer shooters. I was not able to locate anyone who had a mainspring. Charlie Hahn did not have any but did state he would make some. As there are no others available you might want to let Charlie know you are interested in a spare BEFORE yours breaks. My R&S would have had maybe 200 rds fired through it.

Unable to locate a mainspring I contacted Pedersoli by email in Italy. Years ago they made a competition version. I inquired if they had any parts and was told very few but would check. Each email was promptly answered the following day. They had 1 mainspring left. She could not guarantee that it would fit a Euroarms. One week later it arrived at my home. I crossed my fingers and upon inspection and inserting the spring it is about 3/8 of an inch too short to to ride on the hammer roller. Back to the search hopefully Charlie Hahn will be able to come up with some.

I am impressed with Pedersoli customer service! I got better service with them from across the Ocean than from some US companies. I had one other dealing with them about 2 years ago and the service was great.

I should have one or 2 that I saved for a backup.
If you are correct I that he will be making them then I may would sell it as long I I could get one later from CH if I needed it.

If you are going to be at capron for the regional or nationals then I will bring my box and see if one fits yours.
