Does anyone know if there is a difference between the original 575213 and the 575213 NS?

The original one had a really thick skirt and you needed 50 grains to make it work for the most part. New one thin skirt. I have both types

The 213 is a copy of the original Harpers Ferry bullet from 1855. It has a short conical cavity and wants a full musket charge (50-60 grains). The 213 NS is the "new style". The story I head is that it was designed back in the 1950s by some guys on the Blue Rifles. It was the bullet most everyone shot before Tony Bagdon came out with the Hodgdon 'N-SSA' bullet. It's still a good shooter.

Well, there's 575213-OS and 575213-NS, having different style grease grooves from each other. And then there's the 575213 with the shorty cavity what ever it was labeled. Others?

575213 is just about the best excuse for getting an adjustable length plug with interchangeable tips that you ever will see.
