Hello:

I just purchased a wrench from Charlie Hahn with JP's touch mark and am trying to learn if it is a copy of an original. Have searched for info on originals with no results. Saw the Mike Yeck wrench "image", but do not know if that version might be authentic.

So, if anyone has a photo of an original that they can post here or direct me to, many thanks in advance.

Respectfully,
Kevin Tinny

The wrench you purchased from me is not a copy of anything. It is a functional design that Pete made to service the breech plug he made as well as an original with out damaging the driving lug on the plug. He made two designs, one for Springfield, and one H&P. Pete was a master of making very functional tools regardless of old designs, these are an example of how he perceived a working tool.

Hope this helps

Thanks Charlie:

The wrench is a beaut. Was not questioning anyone about it being a copy.
Was curios what an original might look like.
I used the now out-of-production B-Square wrench in years past, but it never reappeared after being loaned.
And yes on the late JP, as a guru of ours.

Always nice to have your input.
