Drake Alteration of Robbins & Lawrence Model 1841 Mississippi, dated 1852, Windsor Vt., with SAC card. This is an original rifle that had the stock cut back to the bottom band. It is not pieced together from parts. Original browned full length barrel, 7 lands & grooves, new rifling to .58 cal. from .54 cal. by Bobby Hoyt. It is not lined but rerifled. Forearm is extended from rear band. Repro band springs and top band. Rich Cross 3 leaf rear sight and new front sight mortised into barrel as were original Drake Alterations. A former owners name, J.J. Martin, and his initials are stamped into the wood and some on the brass parts.$1250.00.Delivered to Nationals.
