Bayonet for the Palmetto Arms "Colt" Revolving Rifle

I'm stepping way outside my lane here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the more common bayonet for the Colt Revolving Rifle was the socket bayonet? If so, has anyone had any success finding any socket bayonet that would fit the Palmetto Arms reproduction?

A M1855 socket bayonet is close to the right diameter and will readily fit over the muzzle but the 3" long socket is 1/2" too long. I am not aware of any reproduction bayonets being made for the Colt revolving rifle and an original bayonet with a 2-1/2" long socket and the right bore diameter will be hard to find.
