Austrian M1849 Rifle

Austrian M1849 Rifle for sale. Overall good condition. Stock is in very good condition with the exception of typical wood loss around the 3/4 enclosed ramrod channel. Patina is pewter to chocolate colored with some areas that appear to have been polished at some point. Bore is dark, but minimally pitted and has strong 16 groove rifling. The lock functions perfectly with a very crisp action. Ramrod and sling swivels are missing. Long range flip-up leaf sight is intact and fully functional. All major components are marked with 66 or 99 (depending on orientation) assembly numbers.
