Offering for sale a complete original Springfield Trapdoor socket bayonet "assembly".
Includes (as pictured):
- Hook-style "frog": Brass US rosette, leather oiled, all stitching is tight & original
- Metal scabbard: fine condition, all original bluing, no dents, bends or signs of abuse or neglect
- Bayonet: Socket type, "US" stamp on blade, locking ring moves freely, blade & tip are sound and true. No cracks, chips, or bends. Socket is undamaged and will fit easily onto related rifle, as designed.
PRICED TO MOVE: Asking for this entire "assembly". Buyer pays shipping OR arrangements can be made to hand off at the Fort.
This WILL make a FINE addition to any bayonet collection, and/or anyone wishing compliment their 45-70.
