For sale. USPS money order preferred or no-fee paypal.

I have two 1859 dated Enfield locks. If I recall what I was told, they may have been for India export or something during that era. I bought them on a whim for a project that never came to fruition. One is fully functional, while the other needs its stirrup replaced.

Fully functional one: $100 shipped

No idea if my pricing is off. If so, send me an offer. Looking to sell...

Thanks

B&B,

As you pointed out the locks are dated/stamped, but are they in fact originals?

Im far from and expert on Enfields and I may be off; but I'm only asking because if they are in fact originals with original internals, you might be really selling yourself too short.

Not interest on purchasing either item - I just don't want you (or anyone for that matter) to compete at an unfair disadvantage.

Sir

Very valid point I should have made clear in the original post. I am not 100% certain if they are original for British issue or the period, and do not wish to represent them as such (which my original wording may suggest). They lack the usual proof marks I have seen on originals, but I cannot connect the dots as to what pedigree they'd be for a contemporary reproduction. If someone here can ID them, I'd be grateful. I am listing them for what I have in them... so call it karma if they are indeed worth more and I merely break even. Or, sell for less, which I am not opposed to, since they are doing nothing but sitting in a box, in the event someone wants them for a project.

Semper Fi!

I think Phil sold these at the Nationals for a big discount. Don't Remember His Prices.

I believe Bruce is correct. I've got two identical '59 dated repros that I acquired with a bunch of parts. Just checked S&S's web site and they still have them listed at $80.00.
