Offering a VERY nice piece, contract Type II by Parker Field & Sons.
As the photos show, she's missing her ram rod & front sling swivel - issues I'm working to address. The front sight is not original, appears to be added for the purpose of skirmishing. I have no idea as to her performance as a completion arm, its part of my late father's collection - has been stored & maintained in a climate controlled environment for +40 years.
Stock is in great shape with no cracks, gouges or chips. No cartouches.
Bore is also in very nice condition. Top, outside of barrel near breach shows what appears to be "933" of an address in London.
Bottom of barrel shows the following stamps/marks: "W. Millwood", "Field", "J.W." and a crown. Bottom breech of barrel and bottom of tang/breech plug have matching "serial numbers" - "49".
Inside of lock is stamped: "G 12 W"
Asking $1,000.00; willing to entertain any serious offers knowing that she's missing an original ram rod.
I've also replaced the beryllium nipple with an original from S&S.
