Yes, I know it's a bayonet...

Ditto my previous thread - I'm hoping someone can help me know to what arm(s) it is made for, as well as any other associated information.

What I do know:

Length = 22.5 inches
Markings = "A10" on the top of its blade

Being an original, I attempted to marry it up to originals that I have ready access to - bottom line, it didn't fit the following:

"1825 Springfield"(??) [flintlock] (too loose),
M-1842(too loose),
H&P (too loose),
Mississippi (rifle's muzzle was too short),
M-1855,
M-1842(??) [.69 rifle],
1866 Snyder,
45-70,
50-70.

Photos of this "mystery" bayonet are attached below (I hope they make it onto the thread/webpage).

MANY thanks in advance for your time, consideration and help in this matter!!

Your bayonet is for the Drake altered M-1841 Rifle, aka "Drake Mississippi Rifle". The Drake alteration included a block/blade front sight to accommodate the socket bayonet you have shown. The numbers on the socket are typical of the Drake bayonets, showing Company and specific arm number. The round head screw is also correct for the Drake bayonet, as are the rounded/sloped shoulders of the blade.

You are most welcome, Rob! Among other things I happen to be a long time member of the Society of American Bayonet Collectors, aka SABC. If anyone has an interest in American bayonets I would recommend trying a membership in the SABC. Their quarterly publication is well worth the annual dues cost.
