Norfolk 3-band rifle musket for sale. Original with good bore. This is a contract rifle musket patterned after the Model 1861 Springfield rifle musket and made by Welch Brown & Co. of Norfolk, CT. The lockplate is marked with eagle and U.S. over Norfolk and dated 1863. Cartouche still visible on stock. Opposite lockplate, marked W.W. WELSH in an arc over NORFOLK C.T. $1200.
