1816 front band spring

I am in need of a front band spring for an 1816 springfield. Mine broke!!

Try Lodgewood. I had the same problem with the front band spring on my m1816. What I did is bought a similar appearing band spring and modified it to work. I believe the spring I bought was a repro, due to the unavailability of original springs. I recall that the spring cost me about $10.00.

You might want to try that option.
