I have a Romano 1st model Maynard with a 20" 50 caliber barrel for sale at Nat'ls. It comes with 50 full capacity cases fired in the gun. It has a fresh rust blue job on the barrel. It's skirmish ready. $2750 and it can be seen in Bruce Cobb's place on sutler row.

1858 cadet musket built by Steve Doyle with a Hoyt lined 3 groove barrel, original 1858 lock with repro primer door, long range sight by Rich Cross. Comes with SAC card. This model has a 2" shorter barrel and a 1" shorter butt stock and is ideal for a shooter of light stature or with short arms. $1350 and it can be seen in Bruce Cobb's place on sutler row.

I'll have some of the 26 lb bricks of soft lead for sale at Nat'ls. They will be in Bruce Cobb's place also. They are $40/brick. It's good dead soft lead.

It's Yecks Antiques and Bruce Cobb and John Gaskill are the proprietors of his fine establishment.

Thanks for straightening out the info Bruce. Mr. Yeck has been gone so long that I tend to forget it is still in his name. I'll bet that at least 1/3 of the membership these days doesn't know who Mike Yeck was, maybe more.

In 1969, I was 15 years old & attending my first skirmish, the Fall National. My pappy's American Legion post friend was a member of the Washington Blue Rifles and had invited us. I was in awe! All of of those muzzleloaders, guys in uniforms, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I found a Navy Arms Hunter, the short sporterized Zouave, at Mike Yeck's stand for $70 and was trying to talk Pappy into buying it for me. He went to his friend, Buster Miller, who came over and looked at a number of muskets. I was handed a new Zoli Zouave, that cost $80, and told it was mine. I think my chin hit the Frederick County soil!

Been shooting these frontstuffers ever since.

Yes, I remember Mike Yeck quite well. :)

I'm picking up lead on Monday morning and I'll have it at the fort on Wed. I'll only have about 400 lbs available as a lot of it is spoken for. I'll have 3 Richmond carbine rods for $20 each and 1 SNWTC or flush plate Whitney rod for $25. That's in Yeck's place, see you there, come sit for a visit.
