1855 Brass Mounted Rifle

Hoyt barrel, Brian Haack lock plate with tuned internal parts, Dunlap stock

Rich Cross 1855 Long Range sight, tall front sight installed, ready to be sighted in for your favorite load.

Includes accessory sight adapter which is inletted under the patch box cover.

$1200 or best offer. Will be available at the 1st Michigan camp sight in area 4 for viewing if it doesn't sell before that.

I know the brass could use some TLC, but it's been sitting in the gun room for over a year. It will be pretty when it comes
to the Fort.

More pictures available. PM me with your email address and I'll send them.

Still for sale. Will bring to the Fort next week on Tuesday.

$1100 or best offer.

Would also trade it for that Armisport Spencer carbine I saw listed earlier. A Spencer has been on my bucket list for a long time.

Bruce,
It was built by Bruce Clark. I got it about 90% complete. A friend of mine, Bill Barnes, did the wood finishing. The Brian Haack lock plate had a poor design to hold the Maynard primer door to the plate. I installed a center stud to keep it secure but still able to remove if you wanted to.

Yes, it has a card.
