How many times can you reload a brass burnside case? Mine have trouble with the lip almost immediately.

Certainly no expert here, but I have 20 cases that have been loaded........I'm gonna say 10-15 times each and they are still like brand new. The only thing I can tell different about them than when I first got them is that they will now chamber without having to 'slam' the action shut, and that is a good thing in my opinion. When they were new, they were pretty hard to close up in the action.

Long time no see Ken how ya been?

I have 16 case left out of twenty I got back in the late 70's and have at least 50 rounds out of each. I've lost 4 over the years to splitting. Mine were a tad tight the first few uses IIRC also. I've seen other folks cases split after a few rounds or the lip fall off.
I'd venture a guess that the quality of the brass stock has everything to do with it if they are made properly. Reckon if you supplied the brass to the manufacture you'd know or ya jus gotta catch a lucky break when you buy them.

Went into the emergency room about a year ago to get a splinter removed. The anti-biotic they gave me nearly killed me. Nine trips to the emergency room, four hospital stays, more doctor visits than I can remember and one major operation. Apparently anti-biotics can really do you harm as you get older.

One of Larry's.
Buy, well, a Starr is DEFINITELY better.
Someday you'll realize that, I hope.
