Another SAC question

I just bought a new Whitacker barrel at Fall Nationals for my 2-band Chattahoochie as the old one starting having cook-off problems. Must I have the gun inspected before I can use it?

No, you are not required to have the arm in question inspected by the SAC. Whitacre's Machine Shop has a production approval for a replacement barrel for the Chattahoochie series of 1861 Special Model muskets.
