Wanted.... 1841 Mississippi trigger plate, original

I am in need of an original, mod 1841 Miss rifle trigger plate. If any one has one they don't need, could you let me know. Mine is stripped out at the tang screw hole, and I cannot tighten the barrel. Plate must be 9 inches long, just need the plate. PMs welcome.

Dave, take a small jeweler's type peen hammer, maybe 3 to 4 ounce, and gently peen the hole from both sides. You should be able to then start the tang screw and have it hold. The alternative is to braze it and drill and tap it. Either way, you have nothing to lose.
