I have an original Smith Carbine stock that is need of some repair. The outter appearance and finish is very good, but the are a few cracks under the trigger guard. This damage has lead to a crack in the wrist. The wood also has a small crack on the corner of the butt of the stock.

Any suggestion of who may be best suited for this type of wood repair. I want a better job than my home remedy of Gorilla glue and some clamps.

Thanks,
Dana Hanson

Call Lodgewood Mfg. in Whitewater, WI during regular business hours (look them up on the web). They have several people who can do this work. Epoxy is used, and it is near impossible to detect. I have a Bunnsides carbine UPS broke at the wrist, now it looks like new.
