One of these days I'm going to get my Wesson up and running. Long story short, what I THOUGHT was an all original first model Wesson had some Bubba homemade RF hammer. Not to spec. One way or another, I'll get her going... even if that means buying a second gun to get the proper original hammer. Hoyt already did the 44/40 reline to my barrel.

So this brings up two questions.

1. What I would ideally like to do is get an original hammer and have a machinist make some copies. Bruce Cobb already said he may know someone who can do it, but just looking for other ideas at a reasonable price? Perhaps already with a CF extension built in. It's a pretty simple piece, and could be water jet cut, cut from steel plate and hardened, CNC machined, or what have you. IF I had a template. Hell, it could probably be cast if someone had the right stuff to do that.
2. Failing that, who can do the CF conversion? Be that modifying the hammer or drilling the receiver for a CF spring loaded pin?
