SAC approved M1841 Type "D” rifle. Built by Kurt Gubert in the late 1980's this rifle has a .58 caliber Harmon / Large barrel, original Whitney lock, dated 1849 and some original furniture. This firearm is sighted in to use the Hodgden “Monticello” bullet, sized to .576 with 40 grains of 3(F). - $1475.00, plus shipping.

Whitacre multi-groove barrel, long range rear sight -original I think, Cross lock, original trigger group, all brite steel hardware. I'm not sure what you mean by type 2.

This has the long range ladder sight, way for old eyes.
