Carbine Sold!
New Euroarms reproduction J P Murray Carbine. The reproductions of these are very much over sized, they look pudgy and feel clumsy.
The originals J P Murray's were very well made firearms and prim examples of Confederate arms manufacturing capabilities. You may view an original J P Murray Carbine of this type in "Confederate Longarms and Pistols" pages 156-7 for a comparison.
This J P Murray has had the walnut stock completely re worked and re finished. The front band has also been change to be more correct for this model J P Murray Carbine.
This Carbine comes with a canvas sling, tompion and N-SSA approval card. The front sight is taller for the shooters. $750.00 plus ship and insure.
