Good Afternoon,
Selling one of 2,000 N.J. contracted muskets that were supposed to have been rifled and sighted, but this was one of the 678 that were rifled by Frankfurt, and not sighted. So this is a .69 rifled musket, with the Maynard Tape primer system that still functions. Some pitting around the bolster, and a dark patina over exposed metal, but still bright under the barrel bands. This will be a very good musket to throw large lead objects down range. The stock is in excellent shape, with no cracks, etc., and still retains martial/inspector stamps.
$1425 shipped CONUS
I am also selling a Johnson contract 1816 in better condition, with a fitting and excellent condition bayonet for $1275 shipped CONUS
Both muskets are collector grade, and can be used for living histories, and obviously for shooting.
Please shoot a PM a with an email or phone number for pictures.
