Disregarding the enormous difference in quality, does either the circa 1970s Jukar derringer or the currently manufactured much smaller sized Pedersoli Philadeplhia derringer closely approximate the size of the derringer with which Booth shot Lincoln? If either does, which one? What were the caliber of Booth's derringer and its manufacturer?

Can't help with the differences in the repo derringers.

The below link should provide ample info on the actual piece used by Booth.

Many thanks, guys. Pedersoli's is very close to Booth's - about .35 inch longer overall length with barrel about .65 inch longer. Your reference sources identify Booth's bore/caliber as 44. In cap lock revolver speak this is .45-caliber. But is derringer speak the same? Dunno.

I own an unfired [copy] of each derringer. About the only things they have in common are bore size, being single shot, and having heavy triggers. One is equivalent to the beater Cadillac convertible driven by Nick Nolte in "48 Hours," the other a Porsche 911. Guess which is which.

Hallo!

There was a "rash" of "derringers" that came out of Spain and Japan in the 1960's and 1970's. Most were, IMHO, "reworked" percussion 'Kentucky" pistols that they got extra mileage from. So, they were big and clunky and not much like Henry Deringer's work (which did come in small, medium, an dlarge sizes :) ).
Much the same way that a Thompson Center "Hawken" or the legion of Italian clones of the TC Hawken kinda/sorta "resemble" the 1850's work of Samuel Hawken.

I have not paid attention to the offerings since Dixie had the Italian "Lincoln" derringer. It was redone and reworked not too long ago as well.

Here is the first:

Here is "Dixie's" current one:
