Hello all--
I have the following items for sale:
1. CS Foot Greatcoat, from the Quartermaster shop; sized for a 46. Dark brown wool, 19 oz. weight. You can wear this with or without your blouse/ roundabout jacket underneath. Perfect condition. Can be worn either by Confederate or Union, (or possibly civilian). Echoes of Glory (Union) p. 129 states: "A shortage of regulation sky blue kersey in 1861 and 1862 resulted in thousands of dark blue, black, and even brown coats." New condition. This jacket would cost $267 plus shipping from QM Shop, with the corresponding time wait. $215 shipped.
3. Brown cloth with black-pin-stripes 4-button "sack suit," Branding Iron brand. Size tag says 42, but fits me (size 46). Pants waist size about a 34, with room to let out if necessary. Never worn. $130 shipped
Quartermaster Shop goods are top quality. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of these items. I am selling to make room in my closet and to get $$ for other items that would get more use.
