I stopped by Bob Hoyt's shop this morning and during the course of the visit he mentioned that he had a 61 Special Model (Colt) that was built by Tom Nixon. He said it was original parts with good clear markings and an Amoskeag lock. Not sure if it was ever fired. He said the only small issue is a small scratch, ding, or rub mark (I didn't see the musket) at Mr. Nixon's cartouche on the left side of the stock. I told him to post it here but he said he wasn't registered up for it so I promised him I'd make the post. He said his asking price is $2000.00. His phone number is 717-642-6696.
