Out of curiosity, are there any issues or rules about using a combustible cartridge for revolvers? It would be very similar to the Sharps cartridge concept, except a lot smaller (obviously). I was just wondering since this kind of cartridge is allowed for Sharps, would it be allowed for use with Revolvers?

Yes, they are probably a real pain in the neck to make, but was just wondering if they could be used.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not. Rule 22.5d. A revolver is considered a Muzzleloader. Sharps is a breach loader.

FazeSpook page N-SSA Traditional Match is discussing traditional. Most has been on musket cartridge. There is an entry about February 12 on pistol cartridge. This wont answer your rules question but will get you in touch with like minded folks.
