Bought this .50 carbine from a member here a couple of years ago, and have since moved from the area where these were used in the Indian wars, my initial motivation for buying. SN is 19860.
It is in mechanically sound condition with firm lockup and original sights. Bore is bright, but shows shallow pitting pretty much throughout. It is much better than another Maynard I owned about 15 years ago, though, and that one shot well despite some deep pits.
The toe of the stock has been broken, and somewhat carelessly repaired. Cartouches still present.
Comes with 19 turned cases I bought from Lodgewood -- unfired -- and I will add in a sample of various .515 bullets.
