The rifle began life as a late 70s Parker Hale two band Enfield, and has been heavily modified to become a pattern 1860 rifle.
An original steel buttplate, trigger plate, nose cap, and escutcheons have been added to make this rifle a P60. Additionally, the bands have been been replaced with correct Palmer bands complete with knurls for the band screws. Modern markings have been removed and replaced with correct proof marks.
An original rear sight has been added, and is in excellent condition.
The crowning glory to this rifle is an original "TOWER 1862" lock, expertly set into the stock mortise with no slop. The lock is in excellent condition with a crisp, heavy action.
Bore is in excellent condition and stock is glass-bedded. This rifle is a shooter as well as being the most authentic thing around.
Rifle comes with nipple protector.
I also have an original saber bayonet painstakingly fitted to the rifle (it will also fit other Parker Hale two band rifles.) Bayonet is in very good condition with a working push button clasp. Bayonet comes with a scabbard with original hardware made by Duvall leatherwork with an Enfield frog also made by Duvall.
Price for rifle: $1,300 shipped to CONUS
Price for bayonet: $350 shipped to CONUS
Price for both: $1,500 shipped to CONUS
No I am not interested in trades and no I'm not interested in haggling. Anyone who has tried working with original Enfield parts and fitting them together into a single firearm without it looking like Frankenstein knows what a challenge it is. This is very likely the best reproduction P1860 rifle available anywhere for any price, and now it can be yours.

Paypal, check, or money order is fine.

The musket looks great. I am not sure why you posted eight of the same photo.
