1855 Springfield rear leaf sight vs the Zouave leaf sight Question?

They look the same, but the Zouave sight base is shorter. What are the base lengths of each???? Thanks

I can do one, but do not have an original Remington or research on it...

The " short range 1858" RM rear sight measured 1.25 inches long, .66 wide, and .41 tall. I recall, correctly or not... the Rifle sight being slightly different a bit, but cannot find my M1855 monograph at the moment.
Way back in my memory is 1.25 X 66 X .44 inches for the Rifle, but cannot say for sure so someone else will have to be of help.
