Hi I am looking for a base plug for a lyman PH .585 mold thanks. Allen

It is not really that easy.
As the years changed they changed the cut of the mould and could be larger or smaller pending year.
also the depth changed batch to batch due to tooling set up.
best you can do is carry it to nationals and look one there if you can find one or make one that will work.
Several people that I could put you in contact that will make you one for your mold.

Your best bet is to send the mold back to Lyman and have them fit a plug to your mold. I did that about 10 years back with a .69 Minie. Cost was about $15.00. Lyman's customer service was top notch. They also rebuilt my bottom pour lead pot for a reasonable price, came back looking and working like new.

This is a trial mold for some bullets . The mold will work but a little rough . if I can't find one I will give Charlie a call

What is the diameter of the hole that the plug would fit into? With the diameter of how that run of molds was made someone might be able to identify a plug.
Also, if you like to tinker a bit, with preheating and a ball bearing of the right size coupled with a little yankee ingenuity you can get a hollow base of partly spherical cross section that will last a few bullets. But, that is really tinkering!
