It hurts me to list this for sale, but I have to. Have one 1861 musket built by Tom Nixon. To start with, it has a beautiful original 1862 dated lock assembly. Also has a original nose cap, upper band and complete trigger guard assembly as well. Middle and lower band were Brian Haack made. Stock is a Dunlap black walnut with a Mike Yeck made butt plate. Rich Cross made rear sight. And a .58 cal 3 groove Dan Whitacre made barrel, which is glass bedded. In excellent condition. I have never fired it. Tom told me it has one of the nicest 1862 locks he has seen. Also has a Nick Duvall leather sling.
