This piece is a first rate competition piece that isn't easy to find!
Original M-1863 Springfield - except the barrel.
The barrel is a coveted Weisz in absolutely fantastic shape! She'll need a rear sight & butt plate screw.
With fine tuning & sighting in, this piece will be a TRUE competitor's rifle; offering the feel and reliability of an original, with the accuracy of a world class bore.
Not "collectors grade", but she's definitely not a dog. From my late father's collection, she's been maintained and kept in a climate controlled arms room for last +30 years.
Asking $1100, but willing to work with reasonable offers. Can't send photos, but it will be at the Fort. I'm in the first trailer on the right, by the road, as you face the Blue's campsite. Feel free to PM with any questions/offers.
