What's the rate of twist for the .50 cal Maynard? Has anyone had any luck with the Rapine .515320 bullet in a Smith? I have a Hoyt reline Smith w/ a 1/54 twist.
Thanks.

I have a Hoyt reline Smith that shoots the .515-320 like a champ.

Lou, I got the mold. Do you use a cow filler to seat the bullet out or just seat it tight on the powder? How does it fly at 100 yds? Thanks.

I use the same bullet with 24 of 3F Goex and ot seats right on the powder. Shoots better then you can hold at 50 & 100

I hace reduced capacity cases. 25 grs comes right ti the inner rim. I tap the case to get the powder to settle.
