***SOLD***Up for sale is my doubly rare 1860 Henry in 44-40 made in the USA by Navy Arms in Ridgefield NJ.
Why is it rare you ask.
First Navy Arms made less than 3000 Henry rifles in the US before outsourcing the production to Uberti in Italy. The US made rifles are easy to spot. Besides the manufactured in Ridgefield NJ stamping they also have 2 sideplate screws while the later Italian made rifles have a single screw.
Second There were only 100 of the Union Pacific Commemorative Henry rifles produced. This one has a serial number of UP 61. The left side of the receiver is engraved with U.P.R.R. and the right side has a dedication engraved on it. " To commemorate the iron bond forged between guns and the railroad that helped unite the American frontier"
This rifle has been used and has some dings on the stock and some finish wear at the muzzle and sight area. It is in 44-40 caliber and has a .427 bore 24" barrel. I have shot it using light cowboy loads and it shoots well.
I am asking $1100 plus shipping but will entertain a REASONABLE offer. Payment via USPS MO
I live in the Fredericksburg, VA area and would prefer to do a face to face sale. However I will ship to your FFL for an additional $50 but they must accept a shipment from a non-FFL ***SOLD***
Thanks
