Gun was dropped about 4 feet, now it shoots more than 6" left. Can see no damage, nothing appears bent.
The rear sight (crudely measured) seems to be positioned slightly to the left side (may have been like that since built). Is it possible the barrel position has changed with the tang, thus rolling the rear sight slightly left? That would mean it tightened I presume (righty tighty/lefty loosey?), which doesn't seem likely. There is a mark on the bottom at the tang/barrel which seems to be in alignment, but I don't know if it was there all along or added after the accident.
Has anyone ever had to change the barrel/tang alignment to get a good sight?
Is the rear sight soldered or dovetailed? Don't really want to recut the rear sight, but I had to move the front sight what seems to be an unacceptable amount left to compensate.
