Full one piece American Walnut stock with a satin finish. 42 3/4" length with a 1 3/4" drop and 13 1/2" trigger pull. Barrel is .577 caliber, blued, 39" length. This is tapered round - 1.090 at breech to .840 at muzzle. Broached rifling - .004" deep. 5 lands - .577 and 5 grooves - .589. Has a 1 in 48" twist. Front sight is blued steel base and blade. Rear sight is blued steel, flip-up w/elevator marked to 800 yards. Ignition is percussion musket cap. Features color casehardened lock. Line engraving on lockplate and hammer. Lockplate marked "1861 Tower" with crown on tail. Blued steel barrel bands. Brass nosecap, buttplate and triggerguard. Buttstock marked on right side "Birmingham Small Arms Trade" w/crown. Saber style bayonet lug right side of barrel. Overall length of rifle is 49" and weighs 8 1/4 lbs. Accessories include a .275 steel rod threaded 10 X 32. Nipple size is 8 x 1.25mm(our stock number NP1480). Recommend load is 60 grains of 2F black powder with a .570 round ball and .010 patch or .577 minie. Manufactured by Pedersoli/Italy.
