NEEDED: Springfield Stock Center Section

Anybody have a Springfield stock section, say the from the wrist forward and 2"/3" section of barrel channel that they no longer need? Condition not important. Hope to be used on a plaque for a true gentleman and a long time black powder enthusiast.

What is your time frame? And does it have to be original wood? The reason I ask is that I have a small tracing lathe and I have made a few up for plaques in the past.

Joe,
What he has is a section of a barrel which has gone through a to cartridge conversion. He would like to mount this in a section of gunstock and display it in his den. I think any kind of wood would be fine.

What I have won't work then, basically what I have is a slice of the stock section for mounting a lockplate for a plaque.
