I have an 1859 Sharps that you may be interested in. It has the iron patchbox. It has matching serial numbers which place it solidly in the Civil War production time for the early part of the war. You can still read part of the Sharps patent marks on the front and backside of the frame. The action works well on all positions. The barrel is full length with the original front and rear sights intact. The inside of the barrel still retains a nice amount of the bore with each land and groove being visible. On the back of the frame it has the original saddle bar and ring intact. The stock of the gun has an attractive dark tone to the walnut. On the back side of the shoulderstock you can see the line that the saddle wear worked into the wood from the many hours this gun was carried by the cavalryman. I am looking to get $2500 for this carbine, shipped. If you'd like pictures send me your email and I'll email some to you. If interested, please contact me at: beatlefans1@verizon.net
Thanks,
