I have 4 new reproduction ramrods for the Richmond carbine. They are 6mm diameter (.236") and 25" long. They fit 1/4" drilled holes perfectly. The tip is threaded and loctited in place and will never come loose. The tip is as close to an original as I can make it. The small end is threaded 12-24 and fits period worms.
