RIFLE HAS SOLD -- THANKS.
I have a very nice early all-Birmingham-made Parker-Hale 3-band Volunteer rifle for sale. It is in excellent condition -- little used. All original, un-messed with. 34-1/2" barrel when measured from the muzzle back to the joint with the breechplug. Serial number "H 596." Henry rifling.
Complete with original front and rear sights, original ramrod with muzzle protector, and an after-market nipple protector on a chain.
I imported this myself from a dealer in the UK several years ago.
Solid, clean, excellent bore and action. You will likely not find a nicer one. These don't find their way to market very often, and this is the first 3-bander I have come across. Couple of minor nicks and bumps in the wood -- basically 100% blue. Brass furniture, barrel bands with screws (no band springs).
Asking $1,100.00 -- and I will include shipping and full insurance to a Lower 48 address.
