    Charitable Giving

Many skirmishers are unaware that the N-SSA is a 501 C3 corporation dedicated to history and preservation of all things related to the American Civil War. As such the N-SSA can receive tax deductible donations from anyone. We can also receive donations from estates looking to make charitable donations in order to reduce tax burdens. If you need information please send me a Private Message and I will give you information to help you. Scott Lynch

    Tax Deductions

    Scott,

By chance would our annual dues to the N-SSA be tax deductible too? I believe the Amatuer Trapshooting Assn. (ATA) has similar tax-exempt status and my dues to the ATA are tax deductible.

Short answer is no. But you can do anything you want to on your tax return until you get caught.

    Donations

Skirmishers, it is not too early to consider tax deductible charitable donations to the N-SSA. These donations could be Civil War firearms and equipment as well as cash or other financial instruments. Questions? Contact Scott Lynch scottnssa@aol.com or 304-582-3977
