This Spring Nationals I will be trying to sell two barrels of 32.5 inches and 31.5 inches that can be used for a two band musket. The first barrel is original "forager" grade 1855 that comes with a repro long range site and no front site . This barrel is being sold for $300 delivered to the Fort. A reline is needed to make this barrel skirmish ready, or you can use it as a shotgun for small game. The second barrel is 31.5 inches long, and the length is SAC passable in length for a 32 inch two band musket. The second barrel is an 1861 Special Contract L G and Y model barrel. It was used by a skirmisher, now deceased. The barrel is skirmish ready with a rear and front site. The Barrel by itself is $250, but there is deal to be made. I have the important parts to an L G and Y musket as a separate deal. With the barrel and lock plus parts, what is missing is the stock for the 1861 Special Contract musket. Here is the deal? the Barrel is $250 and the bag of parts and lock is $250 for a total of $500 delivered to the Fort or shipped to your address. In the past I sell my stuff or deliver my stuff on Saturday afternoon at Nationals. I sit on a park bench outside the jewelry vendor at Sutler.
Keeping with a deal making mode, I am looking for a SAC approved muzzleloading carbine of decent to good quality. My first preference is to trade or sell the above mentioned barrels and musket parts, but a trade is of barrels and parts is certain doable for good quality muzzleloading carbine.
Thanks for looking.
