I just don't get why some skirmishers just don't read our rules. Many, many questions asked here are answered just by looking them up. Who's to blame when a sight or anything is sold as acceptable and they are on the line and get disqualified? Sorry, just talking out loud......... I am NOT pointing fingers at anybody in particular here.

Yes it certainly is frustrating. I make a point to read somebody's rules every day. But of course as Wellington said, "Nobody in the British Army ever reads a regulation or an order as if it were a guide to his conduct, or in any other manner than an amusing novel."
