I will be bringing two additional two band rifles with me to the Nationals. Both were made by Steve Doyle senior and are around 14 years old. One is a Whitney Militia Rifle and the other is a Fayetteville Type IV. Both have Hoyt barrels with 1/60 twist and a .577" bore. Stocks on both guns are original and have light but readable cartouches. Guns have been glass bedded and have browned barrels. I have let the brass age on both and they have a nice patina. Butt plates and trigger bows on both are original. Locks and sights are by Rich Cross. Both have excellent triggers and are sighted for 50 and 100 yard match shooting.
1. SOLDWhitney Militia Rifle: Has long range Rich Cross sight and is sighted for 50 yards. I have a spacer for 100 yards. I shot this gun in several matches this year. It is a great shooter and looks good. Comes with SAC card. $1,250
2. REDUCED Fayetteville Type IV. Has block rear sight with flip up open sight for 50 and 100 yards. I shot it at the Nationals a couple of years ago and only missed one target at 50 yards. Comes with SAC card. $1,250.00.
