    Want to Build an enfield

Need some advice from the experts, I have a euro arms two band musket, since I can not find any replacement parts for the lock assembly I thought maybe just build an enfield. I have a whitacre barrel, where can I find all the parts to build one , stock ,lock? All help and advice is greatly appreciated.
    thank you,
    John

    Hi mr Gaul,
thanks for the reply, I am not having any issues right now but finding replacement tumblers and shears is the problem. I would like to Build one so I would not have problems getting parts in the future . What do you think?

I have muskets for sale or borrow if you need something but you have let me know. The van is packed as it is.

Dunlap makes stocks, but they still have to be finished.

Lodgewood sells original lock assemblies. They also sell replacement tumblers and sears - I put them in both my Euroarms P53 Enfield and a Pedersoli P58 Enfield.

You can probably find someplace that sells replacement reproduction barrel bands, or try to find originals. S&S Firearms and Lodgewood should have reproductions.

Several show up on GunBroker.com. They are usually complete but have basket case stocks and go kinda cheap. Good way to pick up everything from an original gun that needs resurrecting!
