If I didn't already own 4 different 58 cal rifles I'd get this rifle. It would make a great woods rifle and is easy to handle around & inside vehicles. I already have a Zouave, Buffalo Hunter, St. Louis Hawken, and an Enfield Musketoon. The Zouave has gotten two deer and the Musketoon one cow elk. You sacrifice very little velocity with the short barreled rifled muskets.
With my 15 revolvers, I've been called the Imelda Marcos of cap & ball.
