    Almost a Macon.

I have a Springfield model 42 almost a Macon. By Almost, I mean that is the smoothbore is not quite done. The original barrel is 32 and one half inches long which means you have to stretch and reline the barrel to 34 or 36 or shorten the barrel in the present condition to 30 inches. The wrist of the stock has been repaired. I have fired this smoothie with 60 grains of 2f and 678 round ball. Most of the parts are original and some parts are repro. In its present condition the smoothie does not have a SAC card. It depends on how much you want to do. I am asking $475 shipped or delivered to the Fort at the Fall Nationals. The $475 represents the total value of its original and repro parts.

Starting next week I will be out of town for 10 days. I can send pictures before that but we may not be able to close the deal until September.

Hey guys, thanks for all the offers. I made a deal today on a musket so now I need a mold. Anyone have a .678 mold they don't need?

    Thanks,

    I've got a .680 aluminum block mould ( I think it's a Shiloh) $75 shipped to your door.
