is this navy arms repro n-ssa legal?

Hi guys, new to the n-ssa and attended the nationals on Friday to look around for the first time, anyways I have the opportunity to purchase the rifle on the right, problem is I cant identify it for sure. Looks like many of the parts are identical to the zouave, and I know navy arms/Italian manufacturers made arms similar to the zouave that didn't exist. I did read of the Navy arms/Zoli J.P Murray carbine that is n-ssa legal, but I have not saw one yet. and judging by my flaydermans guide and original pics of Murrays ive seen, this looks very close. ..Or maybe its an enfield with brass bands lol thanks for any help....denny

Looks like a few I have seen called a zouave hunter.
carbine length but not legal to shoot.
does not look like a JP think they had different sights and flat bands.
    not any kind or enfield.

thanks for your reply, I thought hunter too, but after seeing some pics they are cut at the lower band and still maintain the patchbox. It wouldn't be a big deal to me, but I can get it for a real reasonable price, and that would get me a carbine to start practicing with.

    Denny,

Be advised that there are boat-loads of legal Zouaves out there in the $300-400 range... So plenty of opportunities to get a 'good' musket cheap...

    Hallo!

IRRC, the "Zouave Carbine" was a market strategy to appeal to hunters who liked to hunt with the rifle but liked a shorter version for wooded brush.

"They" also made a "Hawken-ized Zouave" maximizing Zouave machinery already on hand to further appeal to bucksinner hunters.
