Not period molds, but the bullets they cast!
I'm a former Deep South Region skirmisher. Maybe next year I can start shooting again. I've had some bullet molds custom made that cast reproductions of the .44 Johnston & Dow contract bullet and the .36 Colt Cartridge Works bullets. These molds were developed from measurements from original bullets and the CAD drawings for the molds were done by Steve Sheldon of the 4th LA.
They are $60 post paid and are two cavity molds produced on a proprietary run by LEE Precision. Here are drawings of the .36 and .44 bullets
The .36 is .380 at the drive band and .375 above the groove, weighs 126 grains
The .44 is .460 at the drive band and .451 above the groove, weighs 217 grains
Both have long heals that facilitate easy loading.

Thanks!
