Small Arms Inspections, North East Region

The first North-East Region Skirmish of 2017 will be held at Franklinville NY this coming weekend. If anyone will require a Small Arms inspection for a Individual Approval Card, please make an appointment with me now, and let me know what arm will be inspected. This is so I can be prepared for you, as I have several meetings to attend while there and my time will be limited. However, Individual Inspections will also be done at the Spring National in Winchester. Those scheduled hours of operation are printed on the "Schedule of Events for the 135th National. My contact information is in your Skirmish Line magazine.

    Need some of your time

    Hi John,
I replaced the barrel on my Macon conversion that you inspected 2+ years ago. The new barrel is slightly longer than the one you wrote the card for. I will bring the gun and card with me this weekend for your inspection. Bring some warm clothes, calling for snow Sunday morning.
    Thanks,
    Jim Buckwell

    Thank you, Jim.

For our newer members, when you have a small arm with a SAC Individual Approval Card and you make a change such as Jim did your Card will be modified by a SAC Inspector to reflect the new information, in this case it will be who made the new barrel and the dimensional change. The SAC Inspector will notify me of the changes, after which I will make the appropriate changes on the original inspection sheet. This is so that if you ever have a need for a replacement SAC Card it will have the correct information.
